Tension headaches are at the top of the list of most common type of headaches. A tension headache is generally caused by stress, anger, anxiety, and fatigue. Symptoms of a tension headache can include a sharp pain around the entire head almost as if someone put a very tight rubber band around the head. The temples are usually sore, the person may also experience pressure and pain in their neck muscles. A tension headache is more common in women, but men are also affected.

Cluster headaches are more common in men but can affect women. A cluster headache is considered the most severe type of headache (aside from the almighty Migraine). Migraines also come with sensitivity to sound and light, nausea and vomiting. Migraines like cluster headaches are caused by a chemical reaction in the brain, it can last for several hours or several days.
